Unhappy VB Integration Problem

Hello,
Problem:
I can login to my forum just fine. I cant login to my photogallery page though. I just takes me right back to the same screen but i am not logged in. But if I login to VB then go to the gallery page it recognizes me as logged in and has the Admin link. I click on the admin link and it takes me to another login page. I type in the exact same UN and PW and it says "Invalid login. Please check your username and password, or register" Well I know my login is correct.

Troubleshooting:

So far I have been doing some research and found out that it is probably related to cookies. So I checked my VB cookie settings. Cookie prefix is "bb", and path to save cookies is "/", cookie domain is "blank". I also have made 100% sure that the VB license number is correct in the config-inc.php file. I do know for a fact that when i ran the installation i put in the wrong number but have since then changed it.

Details:
PhotoPost: 5.3
vBulletin:3.5.4
MySQL 4.0.24
PHP 4.3.11
Apache 1.3
URL: http://www.official-tattoo.com

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yep! Me Too!

Ya, I just installed PhotoPost about 10 minutes ago and I've got the same damn problem.

I'm thinking it might be that we need to somehow set Admin Usergroup to be allowed to use the Gallery. But I've yet to figure out how to do that.

Hello on install step 4 you did not input the prefix of the vb cookie which is normally bb. If you use phpmyadmin you can use this query to fix this or rerun install and input the cookie prefix when asked.

UPDATE pp_settings SET setting='bb' WHERE id=172

Also on install it would appear since you get invalid login I would suggest that you check your config-inc.php file and make sure you entered the correct vbulletin license number.

Hey Chuck,

To tell you the truth I went in to phpMyAdmin and I havent the slightest idea of how to do what you said. I think it would be easier for me to rerun installation. If I do this do I need to un-install it first? What steps are necessary for me to do this correctly?

Thanks,
Gabe

You can rerun install and answer all the questions thats it or in phpmyadmin view the Photopost database hit SQL and then enter this query

UPDATE pp_settings SET setting='bb' WHERE id=172

Chuck,

You are a genius!
I dont care what they say. In my mind you are.
Thanks a million buddy!
It was alot easier than I thought. I just copy and pasted that into phpMyAdmin and all is well now.
