Hello edit your config-int.php file and for the $vbpath variable in that file make sure you have the correct server path to the vb forums in there.

It would appear on install you specified the wrong server path to vb on the last step of install

Hello you would not set the vb2 or vbportal 2 to on. You would only turn on the vb3 integration options in the config-int.php file

That should get rid of those errors turning off the stuff you do not have.

You need to turn off the vb2 integration as you are not running vb2 but instead are running vb3. The only define statements in config-int.php that should be on are the ones for vb3.

http://www.alexander553.com/photopost/

i started over. im still getting a error and no admin rights. howerever i noticed 2 things. in my forums prefix (when they ask) if i put vb and not vb_ i had admin rights but no photo homepage. just white w/ more errors. however the way it is now i get a page but i get redirected upon log in.

another thing is the error keeps sticking that photopost/forums/vb3 and my photo post and forums are under root separate.

The only thing I see wrong on install is that you are not correctly putting in your vbulletin mysql table prefix. If you rerun install and answer this correctly you should be fine. Take note on step 4 you need to enter two prefix's. One would be mysql table prefix which is probally vb is thats your mysql prefix and then cookie prefix which should be bb.

You can check your vbulletin config.php file and it should tell you the table prefix and cookie prefix

i reinstalled eveything. vb and gallary on my test sight. it worked!

the things i did different was when i installed vb i didnt assign a table prefix. or i set the config file to 777. im not sure what 1 did it but it work and im excited.

there should be a step by step manaul for vb people. its tough cuz im very new. i thought i was gonna bring my "myspace" skills and be all set. i was wrong.

over the course of the last few weeks i fought w/ new vb install, vbadvanced install, and photo post install. and by far this was the easiest once i understood your lingo. thanks chuck. im looking forward to seeing you over on the design side. thats sounds like more fun

new question im ready to move to my live board. in my vb354 config file i have a prefix 'vb' ..... when im running my photo post install do i put it as vb_ and leave the default pp_ for photo post? and is 'vb' and vb_ the same thing just different way to write it? cuz i tried vb_ and vb on my test install and left pp_ and wanted to make sure that wasnt all my problem that caused my errors the first time.

bare w/ me im still trying.

Your Photopost table prefix is usually pp_

Your vbulletin table prefix is whatever it states in your vbulletin config.php file
