Upload Image Error

Hoping that someone can help me out here.

I'm recieving the following error when I try to upload images:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 5120 bytes) in /home/webusers/aoiadmin/aquacultureonline.net/WWW/photopost/image-Inc.php on line 84

Any ideas on what the probable source of the problem is? Is this a permissions thing on the server? Or should I have a look a particular setting somewhere else.

Thanks in advance,

Chuck,

Thanks for that. The inserted text to the upload script fixed the problem.

To test it, I uploaded an image which worked fine. But then when I deleted it the # photos counter still registered 1 photo for the category - even though there was no photo present. I tried using the Admin>Database>Scan Database tool to reset the photo # counter, but that didn't seem to help.

Any thoughts on why the photo count for the category didn't reset?

Edit: I think I solved the problem. After typing this message and going back to the board, the counter reset. Is there a time delay for a script to update the table?
