This is just a guess, as I'm new to the software, but check under the administration settings in the admin area for the edit usergroups options. Then under there see if everyone's gotten flagged "Admin Access" or not. Hope this helps!

I have checked the usergroups and they do not have admin rights. I also imported or synched my groups with my phpbb forum and saved settings and this did not resolve the issues.

OK...I deleted the old SQL database and deleted the old install of photopost. (when I say old, i mean old as in just upgraded to 5.3 install).
I created a new SQL database and fresh install of the photopost software. I log into the site using several accounts and everyone has the ADMIN link when they log into the site. I dont want people to have this admin link. Is there a way to disable this link? I have looked at all the usergroups and nothing there is showing ADMIN status or MOD status for anyone except the admin of the website. Can anyone help me with this issue? Thanks..
Gerald

Check your usergroup permissions in admin. You are setting people with admin or moderator access under the usergroup permissions.
Only the admininstrator should have admin or mod access. Guests and registered users should not.

I have checked my usergroup permissions and no-one except ADMIN group has admin rights. However when anyone logs into my site www.gettingbuilt.com and then clicks on the link to my photopost gallery www.gettingbuilt.com/photos they have the ADMIN link at the top. Of course when they click on ADMIN they do not get all the options as the ADMIN does, but they still get the link which is alarming for me.
You can log into my site with just a basic user account i created and see what I am saying.
Username = kicker
password = password
Let me know what you think and I appreciate all the help I can get.
Gerald

How about have you made sure you are not giving registered users moderator rights as I posted above.

Chuck,
I made sure the appropriate permissions are in place. I took screen shots of my usergroups so you can see first hand how they are setup. Hope this helps.
Thank you for all of your help.

Look at your screenshots your taking What I am saying is correct. You are giving regular users moderator access to your site.

See it always helps to get a pair of fresh eyes on a problem. I was overlooking that 1 step. HEHE..I went to the usergroups and made every change except that one. Thank you for all of your help.
