Hi

PP 5.3: Moderators only for subcategories not working

When I add a user in a subcatory as moderator (in admin/category option), who is normally not a moderator in his userprofile (admin/edit users), no "admin options" are visible to him for that subcategory below each image.

As soon as I go into to admin/edit user and upgrade him there to a general moderator level, he can see suddenly the admin options below the image inthat specific category.

The problem is now, I do not want to give that user "general moderator" status. He shall only be moderator in a specific subcategory, wthout having the rights to change or access anything else in other categories, neither to have access to the userdatabase or backup functionality..

How do I do this?

To assign a moderator to any cat they must have moderator set to yes in usergroup permissions. If you want permissions only to be category specific then set this option accordingly in Admin Options
