AdminCP unaccesible

Hi there,

My website is currently configured for a domain that has not been switched over just yet. The domain will be 190revolution.net, but it is currently just 207.210.105.40/~cazzzidy/photopost

Anyhow, I am trying to get photopost to work, and it is succesfully installed. It wants to use page redirects with the 190revolution.net prefix, but that takes me to a page that doesn't exist yet, but will soon.

How can I get it to use the IP and not the URL for testing purposes?

As it is, I cannot get into my Admin CP... it just dumps me into misc.php and back to the login page.

Cassidy

Hello you would need to install Photopost on the IP addy you have above as if it is redirecting to the url it would appear you have on install put the url and not the IP for photopost.

If you reinstall and put the proper url currently things should work and then you can change the urls in admin later to the new parked domain.

You can use phpmyadmin to view the settings table and hand edit all the url settings in that table in like the first 40 entries

That of course is the hard way. Running install.php again will not ruin your present install and will only give you duplicate query errors but will allow you to correct those incorrect settings you did. It is alot quicker than hand editing a mysql table.
