problems using ImageMagick

hi there,
I have installed ImageMagick following your guide on http://www.photopost.com/howtoinstall-php.html (how to upgrade by the way? noticed the one on the guide is an older version)

and i did a locate mogrify and i can find them as below :

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
however during installation when i specify the path to mogrify as /usr/local/bin/mogrify , i keep getting the below errors (no issue if i installed PP using GD2)

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
This is making me go nuts!

Just install and continue and see after installation if it works. Our site links 6.23 Imagemagick there are surely new versions. Sometimes on install the server will not return whether it can find the variable depending on permissions issues.

If this is your server and you have root access this is the preferred method of installing it

yup its my server and have root access to it.

I check on the permission of mogrify... it shows

-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 24038 May 9 23:32 /usr/local/bin/mogrify*

so any problem letting my hosting account, eg abc uses it? is it due to permission?

If your using Imagemagick set as the processor in Global Options yes that would mean everything works fine.
