link paths not right in categories

Ok My Main navigation links have the paths correct when on the Photopost index page but if I drill into a category then all my paths change on the main navigation row. Weird..

I thought this was working before but guess I just did not check it very well.

Ok found it .. I had "use spider friendly URLs" turned on and this did it. Why would this not work?
