xhtml validation for gallery categories gives 10 erros.

I have a problem with XHTML validations on gallery.

Result: Failed validation, 10 errors
Address: http://gallery.techarena.in/showgallery.php/cat/508
(I have this problem on all category pages throughout the gallery and main index page)

What can be wrong ?
I have tried to revert back all the stock files and reverted back to default templates.

Need Help to pass this validations. I am sure this was working fine 2 weeks back.

I am sorry nothing I can suggest since I have no frame of reference here as in looking at your html code.

Photopost is XHTML compliant as I know I submitted most all the XHTML changes to Michael over the years

I would suggest if you use HTML in your cat descriptions or changed your site header and such you look there cause that would throw the entire page off

I know if I put my gallery in w3c.org it passes with 100% validation and it is pretty much a stock vb3 vb portal photopost integrated page

hi chuck,
I am getting problems with validations on pages with recent/random/popular images getting displayed, after digging into same, this is what I came to know.

I am configuring following settings in:
Admincp -> Layout Options ->
Number of columns for most recent additions section? 5
Number of photos to display in the most recent additions section? 5
with this settings gallery passes xhtml validations without any errors

but with following settings:
Number of columns for most recent additions section? 5
Number of photos to display in the most recent additions section? 10
XHTML Validation fails and gives 10 errors.

I am sure, this should be a problem somewhere in the code, I tested the same on an un-modified test gallery (not available to public access) which gives me same trouble.

This line in features.tmpl remove the code in bold and try

cool fixed now

... xhtml validations passed with both

Number of columns for most recent additions section? 5
Number of photos to display in the most recent additions section? 5

and also

Number of columns for most recent additions section? 5
Number of photos to display in the most recent additions section? 10

(please mark this fix for future release).

That fixed the errors for me too BUT I have 1 error on these pages:

http://gallery.mysite.com/showmembers.php/cat/503

It says:

Content visible to verified customers only.

It does it for 3 out of my 4 categories. The one that is doesn't do it on only have my pics in it. (Me)

Any fix for that?

I get that pate 100% XHTML valid with Photopost

Wrong URL. I tested your gallery too and it came back with the same error that I am getting.

You can try in showgmall.tmpl remove this in bold
