Maximum kb size not working

I have set the max image size to 200kb per image, dimensions of 800x600.

However, images larger than 200kb are getting through.

Why is this happening? (Photopost Pro, vbulletin 3.5.3)

TIA

Does the person belong to multiple usergroups and you have no limit for that second group?

When they go to there upload page what does it say there for there max upload filesize?

The limit is consistent through out, I'll check with him, ask him what he's seeing when uploading.

I'll get back to you.
Thanks

Also remember if he is in multiple usergroups and you have not refreshed usergroups in photopost to pull in any new groups you may see an issue with this since the other usergroup would pull 0's for everything and since the best case scenerio is used 0 is best.

Chuck, the member has sent me the following that he sees on screen when uploading:

Maximum File Size: No file size limit.

I have been through each and every usergroup who have posting permissions, double checking, and they all have a 200kb limit.

Then you have not imported all your vb usergroups as I stated in my last post.

Have you checked in vb users and seen what groups he belongs to?

Basically if he has no limit your setting his group to no limit. Thus if you have not refreshed the groups in photopost and picked up every last group you can see this issue when a user belongs to multiple groups.

Yep, I refreshed the usergroups, in fact I did it several times. Before I closed the computer, I double checked the usergroup settings, I do this each time I refresh the usergroups from vbulletin. Everything was at 200kb file size.

However, after closing the computer, and logging back in this morning, all the file size settings for several usergroups had reverted back to "0". This has happened on other occasions, and I find I am constantly having to double check my settings in the usergroups.

Okay 5.3 is the current version but anyway as stated before what groups does this user belong to?

If he gets no filesize limit it is because one of his groups is not set.

Hi Chuck, sorry for the delay in responding.

The file sizes have now appeared at 200kb, without me doing anything at all.

I wonder if it could be a cache issue with IE?
