No admin rights?

Hi folks -
I just got Photopost installed, and when I login as the admin, it is treating me as as a "regular" user, without the ability to access the adm-index.php, where I received the "You are not a valid administrator or moderator" message.

Any advice?

Check your usergroups table and make sure there is an admin entry there like this

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.

Ok, that one's cleared, the next one I seem to have is when I'm trying to create an album, I'm getting an error that says my data directory is in the following location:

C:\inetpubwwwroot\photopost\data, which is obviously incorrect.

I've checked the config-int.php, and the pp_settings table, and I do see the correct path of "C:/inetpub/wwwroot/photopost/data.

Anywhere else I need to poke around?

Thanks again for your help

Make sure your Admin => Global Options has the correct uploads and data path using forward slashes. Then go to Admin => Storage Options and revert the path twice to pick up changes made in global options.

the pp_usergroups table is in your photopost database you need to make sure your usergroups table has an entry for admin with cpaccess set to 1

If mysql strict mode is on the server turn it off.

Sorry Im a newbie. Just bought and installed the program today.

I installed it properly. Once I try to login thru the admin panel. I use my username and Password it starts to login but ends me up on the /photopost/index.php page

How can I correct that.

From what I see the application was not correctly installed. Your entering your gallery database as your user database and you need to enter your forum database info under the user portion then go through install and integrate with vb.

Yes on your config page you input the correct user database and then on step4 when you select external integration you select vb3 and answer all the questions correctly there.

You need to enter the gallery database on the config portion and the vb database under the user database portion of the config and go through install select vb3 integration and answer all things correctly like vb table prefix and cookie prefix urls paths etc. The table prefix and cookie prefix of vb can be found in their config.php file in the includes directory.

Those are server paths not database info. Your database info is the mysql database info for the gallery and forum.
