Fresh Install - not updating database

the problem is, I'm not getting the screen to enter that information. When I run vbag.php, it immediately takes me to a white screen that says:

Importing 1 Categories.... please wait

Click here to import photos

the when I click "here" it takes me to the next step. I am never given the option to input any paths.

I just looked at my php error log for when I was trying to run it last night and here's the error:

replace the configuration file chmod it to 777 and try again or edit the configuration file and place the correct information inside it
