Two Databases

I have not received my download email yet for my purchase. I am curious to find out.. 1. This is possible to have two databases going, one for the vbulletin and one for the photopost? I would like to do this for speed and scaliblity issues. 2. Also, how difficult is it to set up the forum so I have random gallery pictures appearing above and below the forums. 3. Also, is it possible to hand choose the pictures that will be displayed on the forums page? Thanks..

You can not hand choose the photos that display on the forum. There are 3 cases you can use latest random and most views.

Yes you may install Photopost in a separate database with no issues.

To install the forum photo block here are the instructions

Waiting

I am still waiting for my darn account to be activated, but thanks for the information. Now I know what to do right when I get my software. I have one more question. Does the photopost software interface with the vbulletin users database easily? Or is it going to be a pain? What is the intermediate table, or do I just tell the photopost to search the vbulletin user table?

Well I would suggest you contact custserv@photopost.com with questions on your order but it can take as the order page says up to 24 hours to process an order. Usually though a couple hours max.

Two Databases

I am sorry for posting in the other forum about this. I should not have done that. I am having problems getting my integration working properly.

I have this on my photopost page. I am trying to do my best to read the forums, but can't figure it out.
