Step 5 error

Hi guys..

Im on step 5 now and I get this error on the top of my page:

Warning: mysql_fetch_row(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /public_html/photopost/forums/vb3.php on line 460

If I ignore it I see it again at the login page.

What do I do?

Thanks,
Fabian Vercuiel

In config-int.php your $vbpath variable make sure you have the proper path to your forums.

Hmmm another strange issue.. when I access /photopost/index.php and it opens with my vbulletin header, template and footer it seems ok but my forum logo doesnt show up and when I log in or out from the navbar it says

The requested URL /forums/login.php was not found on this server.

Why isnt it using the URL/Path I specified..? I specified /vbulletin/login.php .. why is it using /forums/login.php ?

Also, how do I get photopost to actually show up on my main vbulletin index page and how can I set it so that if I click on a forum it opens the gallery?

Thanks.

Here is a link to my forum:

http://www.cgcentral.net/vbulletin/

Do you see the gallery forums there? I want to use those with PhotoPost.. and I want to put featured images below the navbar. If you know how to do this please help.

I would suggest two things from what I see

1. Go to your forums admin and make the path to your header logo a full url

2. Login to photopost admin and check under forum options you have the correct url's to your vbulletin admin.

Thanks 1. worked I can see my images now.

As for the login the only field I can find in the Photopost admin area that asks for forum URL is

URL to your forums main directory
This is the URL path to your forum installation.

and that is set to www.cgcentral.net/vbulletin

Nowhere can I find a place that asks for the url to my vbulletin admin

fabianv, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

At the top of every forum read the announcement on becoming a verified license holder.

Thats not what the announcement says to do. You must enter your forum email to match your license email and then wait an hour or so and make a post

Ok I see im verified now.. read the link you gave me but its pretty confusing.

Isnt photopost by default supposed to implement itself into my vbulletin forum on the main page? All of this is quite tricky.

I'll give the link another read.
