5.0 upgrade stalls on UPDATE photos

I have an installation of 5.02 that I am trying to update to 5.1 using the "5.0x to 5.1" routine. Everything seems to work until it stalls on the UPDATE photos table with all the extrainfo data. I am guessing this might be happening because I have over 85,000 records in that table.

Any ideas??

Hmm...although I just checked and assuming the UPDATE command actually *starts* running you would think my early records would have some data in those fields. They don't.

I ended up working around this by manually adjusting the query to only do a segment of photo data at a time.

The rest of the upgrade went well.

Uping the PHP memory_limit and max_execution_time could have helped as well

Sounds to me like it was a timeout issue trying to process all the results.
