Unhappy Not finding mogrify on install

Yet another person getting stuck at Step 2 on the install--can't find mogrify...

I have a dedicated server running Linux (from Aplus.net), with shell access as root. I know IM is installed, because it's working OK for vBulletin. The path to mogrify is /usr/bin, and my config-inc.php has been edited to say:

$mogrify_command = "/usr/bin/mogrify";

I know that the only way I can see directories above domain level is to be logged in as root. Thinking that possibly the install script could not see the proper directory, the Aplus techie placed a "link" file (to mogrify) in the domain level cgi-bin directory, then I edited config-inc.php to point to that location--didn't work.

I'd like to either know how to fix this myself, or be able to conclusively demonstrate to Aplus that they need to fix something on their end.

Any help with this is appreciated. If the solution is previously posted, my search attempts were not good enough to find the solution.

Thanks!

Just continue with install and test uploading afterwards and we can go from there

Thanks Chuck.

Finished the install, have a forum integration problem now, will start a new thread on that topic.

(a few hours later)
Never mind! Finished install, IM works fine, everything looks good! Sometimes it helps to remember to clear the browser cache before you assume there's a problem...
