How do I get rid of the space under the header

Can someone tell me where (in the css, I am guessing) I need to edit to:

1. remove the space beneath my header (see attached)
2. add a thin border around the outside of the gallery (also attached)

I am not a coder so pretty please include the code that I need to change/edit/insert and tell me where I need to do it.

Edit menubar.tmpl and remove the <br /> tag at the bottom

Edit your pp-open.tmpl and you can specify a border where it has 0 now or edit in your stylesheet the tableborders class.
