unwanted emails

I have someone emailing me telling me that they are receiving subscription emails from my website, but they have never been to it, or subscribed to anything. I cant figure out how to find them and remove them out of this automated process. I have cut off subscriptions, but they are still getting them. I have not upgraded my vbull or photopost to the new version yet, but everything else seems to be fine....that is my only complaint...how can I stop them from getting the unwanted emails.
thanks

I would search for their e-mail address in your mySQL DB.

Is this something that is from forums or the gallery ?

Well moving this thread and next there email address may have belonged to someone else who registered on your gallery at one time and got updates. If you have phpmyadmin you can search the photopost users table or if integrated with a forum that users table for the users email. Once you figure out the users userid you can issue a delete query against the notify table of Photopost to clear out any subscription notifications

DELETE FROM pp_notify WHERE userid=SOMEUSERID
