Question about Users

I am using PhotoPost Pro 5.3 and phpBB 2.019 together. When I look at the admin panel for PhotoPost, it does not have the users panel that is described in the PhotoPost manual online. Is this something that is just for the stand alone version? How do I manage the user permissions..in the forum admin panel?

I am trying to make some users the mods and be able to edit their own category in the gallery, but not have access to the full admin panel.

The admin panel pictures in the manual need to be updated and give a general overview of the main admin functions. There are much more options now but yes you will not see an edit users in the admin when integrated with a forum. That is because photopost has no users to edit. Your forum holds the users.

If you want to have Mods in phpBB which is not real good about usergroups permissions this is what you need to do. You need to create a custom usergroup in phpBB and make your mods part of this group. You can then refresh Photopost usergroup permissions and set mod access to this usergroup and then in edit categories assign the mods to the specific categories you want.

Thanks, that worked. I was trying to make it so that they would only see their own subcategory, but I think that would require redoing the usergroups so that each mod was in his/her own user group.
