| Registered date wrong problem
I posted this in the wrong part of the forum already;
Hi folks, I have a couple of questions, under "couple of PP questions". Recently installed Photopost, but have these two small problems;
1. All my members from the forum who post comments in the gallery have there "registered" dates shown as January 1970. How can I fix this please?
2. When I post a comment about a photo, my username or avatar isn't displayed, I'm displayed as anonymous. Everyone else seems fine. How can I get my username and avatar to display (they work fine in my forum)?
My gallery is at www.goldwingfacts.com/photopost/index.php |

January 1970 is a legacy date, it's got a proper name but can't remember it. It is the date that computers keep the time from and if a date is not shown then it defaults to that. I had this when I moved my old forum to vB. It was caused by the different ways the two software packages datestamped messages in the db. The vB staff modified the import script and that fixed most of them, but many inactive members still have that date in the db.
Have you migrated software at all?
Bob

My Photopost gallery is just an addition to my WOWB forum. It uses the login information from the forum. The members avatars work fine and their post counts tie in properly, just that the registered date for all of them isn't working. If this can't be fixed, is there a way to disable the registered date from being displayed at all?

My profile display is working fine Chuck, many thanks. But the registered dtae is still stuck on 1970. I cleared my cookies, cache etc and rebooted but it's still the same.

Well I made a change that will help your situation although I don't understand why it does not display with $cureg done changing it to $regdate works fine though.

Hi Chuck, can you fix this again please when you get time? It's defaulted to 1970 again since the upgrade, but I just noticed it now.

Hi Chuck. I feel embarrassed but it seems to be fixed now. I reset the gallery so unregistered people can see the images and then noticed the registered dates is fixed. I set up an account for you before I noticed this!
