photopost v5.21 500kb upload limit??

I have vbulletic vb3.50 with photopost v5.21 installed, running on apache server which has been configured for large uploads, however if i try to upload to the gallery i am limited to a 500kb total upload size, or else it displays 404 error page.

Any help would be much appreciated.. my users are moaning, and i can't seem to find whats causing the errors?

Thankyou

I would suggest you check your php settings. You can try in uploadphoto.php to add this and see if it helps in bold.

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
If that does not help then contact your host as I would think in your apache config they have the LimitBodyRequest variable set to not allow uploads larger than 500KB

Hi there,
I tried to the above changes... and my host says all should be good for uploads of 5 megs. But yet I stoll get an error:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 8128 bytes) in /home/displays/myholidaydisplays-www/image-inc.php on line 84

when trying to upload a 1.3 meg photo.

Can anyone help me?

If you are using GD2 I would suggest you install Imagemagick as GD is not good with large uploads cause it uses PHP memory and you see the result as noted above. Imagemagick does not use PHP memory to process images
