using old 'data' directory w/new install

I posted this two weeks ago....still no response. Please help.

I've successfully installed vBulletin 3.5.3 and PhotoPost 5.3. All is well. I also have the complete 'data' directory and its many subdirectories from another 5.2 install that I would like to pull into my current 5.3 install. Would replacing the just-installed 'data' directory with the old one work? Is there a quick and (relatively) painless way to do this?

Yep thing there is a glitch as your post is actually outside of our support forum instead of inside a support forum so no one saw this

You can not just install a data directory from 5.2 and make it work. You would need to have both the data directory and photos table inserts as well as categories table inserts for it to work.
