Big problems uploading

Wonder if you can help. Photopost 5.3, VB3 enhanced. Uploading photos in bulk, it uploads the file and then gives me this:

We're sorry, but the system experienced an unrecoverable error. Please try again later.

Script: bulkupload

Query: SELECT SUM(filesize) AS fsize FROM pp_photos WHERE userid= AND storecat=0

Result: You have an error in your SQL syntax near 'AND storecat=0' at line 1

Database handle: Resource id #22

Any suggestions would be most welcome!

Thanks,
Chris

HMM in bulkupload try encapsulating the $upuserid

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
I would be more concerned why it is empty though

Hi Chuck,

I changed bulkupload.php as you suggested and now it gets to the "processing images" screen but then does nothing. Just sits there - clicking on the link that says "click here if you're not automatically redirected" also does nothing.

Any more thoughts?

Cheers

What do you mean does nothing?

How many photos did you ftp to the server?

Uploading the regular way works?

It's also happening on single file uploads (doesn't seem to matter what the size of the image is). When I say "does nothing" it just sits at the screen attached. Clicking on the link makes the browser process for a second and then it stops and goes back to the same screen.

Well your uploads work fine

http://feelthebass.co.uk/photopost/s...00&ppuser=1059

I would instead ask you to look at your php settings

http://feelthebass.co.uk/phpinfo.php

You can not upload files larger than 2mb. Your using GD so you might be having memory problems on larger file uploads. Do you have mogrify on the server so you can try using ImageMagick to see if it helps?

Also if your file uploads are under 2mb but consistently they are over a certain size and nothing happens perhaps your host has the LimitBodyRequest variable set to a certain size.

In pp-inc.php try adding this in bold and see if it helps uploads if your going to continue using GD2

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.

Hi Chuck,

Thanks - I added those lines to pp-inc.php but it still failed so I'm going to try installing ImageMagick on the server and see how it goes. Where is the LimitBodyRequest variable held, php.ini? I'm on a VPS so I should be able to modify it myself (dangerous!) if I know where abouts it should be.

Cheers,

Chris

LimitBodyRequest would be in the apache config maybe httpd.conf

As far as Imagemagick here is instructions since your on a VDS

http://www.photopost.com/howtoinstall-php.html

You can clearly see I uploaded fine so it has to be with filesizes and or GD2.
