| New Install problems
Hello from Ireland. I just got around to the install tonight after my wowBB server gave me the proper path to the Imagemagick mogrify file. But step 3 in the install gives me this mesage; Warning: mysql_connect(): Access denied for user: 'root@localhost' (Using password: YES) in /home/goldwing/public_html/photopost/install.php on line 547
I cannot connect to the PhotoPost MySQL server. [host:$host][mysql_user:$mysql_user][mysql_password:$mysql_password]. Check your config-inc.php for the correct settings and rerun.
I want to have Photpost use my wowBB registration system and I'm unsure if I have the configuration page filled in properly, so I need to ask these questions; 1. PhotoPost Database User; it says root. Should this be something else? 2. User Database Host (enter same info as above if not integrating with a third party forum); As I want to use the WOW registration, what do I enter here?
Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Hello
Yes your photopost username password and database name must exist. The user information would be the same as your wowbb config. You can use the same info for photopost as wowbb. The photopost tables would be prefixed with pp_ by default so there is no conflicts using the same database.

Thanks Chuck. I made a new database for Photopost and just called it photopost, is this right even though I only want to use the registration integration?

Well in that case the photopost database info is that of photopost and the user database is that of wowbb.

Forgive my ignorance on this Chuck. I'm still unsure of what haven't put in properly. This screengrab shows the info I typed in the install form (I've deleted the passwords from the screengrab for obvious reasons); Code: Content visible to verified customers only.

I'm fed up with this, it will be cheaper just to pay for you to do the install Chuck. I'll do this over the weekend.

I ordered the installation service, what do I do now? There weren't any instructions so I'm not sure if I make contact here or wait for you to contact me.
Update, Just got the e-mail with the instructions, thanks.

Just a question before I fill in the form (I'll fax it tomorrow). Should I delete the mySQL database and the folder (with the uploaded PP files) that I already made for Photopost?

Sorry Chuck, I just sent you an e-mail with some questions before I seen your reply here. It's just a couple of extra questions, thanks for the help.
