admin panel I have just installed the latest version of PhotoPost and asked it to integrate its style with vBulletin (3.5) and use vBulletin's user groups. There seems to be some problem with the communication between the user accounts and PhotoPost, however, as when I click on the "Admin" link (which I am assuming takes me to some sort of admin panel where I can tweak settings), it takes me to a login page, but after I login as admin, takes me right back to the gallery's home page. It would also not let me upload photos, either when I am logged in as admin or as a user, saying that I do not have permissions to do so. How can I get into the administration pages? Thank you. Never mind, I fixed that problem. |
share the wealth on how you did it. I got the same problem. |
Me too I got the same PROBLEM!!! but mine is PhotoPost Classifieds!!! And this is my first install can someone HELP!!! |
When installing with vbulletin on install you must specify all the proper info. If you get a login loop then the most likely culprit is you did not enter your cookie prefix on install. This is very important because in vbulletin 3 the cookie prefix and license number are encoded into the password cookie for login purposes. If you do not specify things correctly your not gonna be logged in right. Check your config-inc.php to ensure you have input the proper vb license number not customer number For vbulletin these cookie settings usually work and photopost must be set the same cookie path / cookie prefix bb cookie domain blank or .domain.com You can use phpmyadmin to change these in the settings table settings 171-173 or rerun install.php and specify the right settings. |
I have the exact same problem. I've been trying to sort this out for nearly two weeks. Same cookie info for vb3 and photopost and correct license number. I am able to log into the admin of photoshop, but it pushes me back to the photoshop page. Then I have to click on the admin link again to actually get into admin. Mind you once I do that and then return back to vb3, its logged me out. But I am still logged in over at photopost. I am also unable to upload pictures even though I am logged in as admin. Code: Content visible to verified customers only.Someone please help. |

I'm going to try an re-install. Hopefully that does the trick :-D |
