Question What benefits can integration bring

I have been running PhotoPost for some time now and about to upgrade 5.2 -> 5.3. Just before Christmas I moved my forum over to vBulletin 3.5.3.

Can you please explain what integration is possible and what benefits my ~8000 members will have.

Thanks

Bob

Well the biggest hurdles your going to have is porting your photopost users into vbulletin. Meshing the users is going to be fun.

As far as integration it gives one login for both products so users get the best of both products and only logging in once.

well it all depends. You already have a forum running with users. Your already had a photopost running with users. You would need to mesh these together. Unless of course your doing to dump photopost and do a new install

I created a script to import photopost users into a clean vb forum

But your not doing this so you would need to write a custom script to import the users with an incremented id.

Don't want to dump the current installation of PP, too many posts there. The other option sounds like too much work, lots of other things to do. Thanks for the info.
