How do I know what my users db name is?

I am trying to install with the database of my forum. I have set my db and user/pass as my main control panel in the first section and in the second it asks for my db and user/pass of my forum. I have PHPBB- do I use my main admin login info or do I use something else. It asks me for my user db, and I am not sure what that is, I know what my table is. What the crap am I doing wrong? Anyway when I proceed and put all of my other info it comes back with this error:

Warning: mysql_connect(): Access denied for user: 'myhouse_phpb1@localhost' (Using password: YES) in /home/myhouse/public_html/photopost/install.php on line 1245
I cannot connect to the Users database.

You should open up your phpBB config.php file and all your user db information is located there.

Thats what you need to enter in the user db config. The above error states you have not entered your user db info correctly.

It worked, but more errors...

That worked, I went and the db and user was right, but the password was wrong, thanks! Now I am getting a different error. I can't figure out where this file or command is missing from. Can you tell me what this error means to you. Also it keeps referring to vb3- and I have phpbb, is that ok, or do I need to change something? Thanks so much for your help!

You specified the incorrect forum path on the last step of install.

Just open config-int.php and edit the $vbpath and place the proper path to your vbulletin forum and you will be fine.

Ok, one more question. I have phpbb and the only thing it would let me register was phpbb2. Does this make a difference? How do I fix it if it is?

Then backup here. Upload a clean config-int.php if your not integrating with vb3 as you dont turn on enhanced integration if your using phpBB2.

The place where it asks for the path and it has $VB3Path now... my message board is under public_html/coffeetable, what would my correct path be, or is it just $PHPBBPath- I am lost?

You must upgrade your phpbb to at least version 2.018

http://www.phpbb.com/downloads.php

Upload all files except config.php and run

www.domain.com/install/update_to_latest.php

thats it

You do not edit anything in config-int.php if you have phpbb that is for vbulletin.

That worked!!! Thanks so much. Do you know much about the imagemagick? I tried to unzip on my server, and it wouldn't so I am having to install manually (pain in the butt) but one of the folders is titled Magick++, and my server wont allow the + sign. What should I do?

Imagemagick has to be COMPILED ON THE SERVER not unzipped

You need SSH and use of the GCC COMPILER

ok...I know you are sick of me

Ok, I know you are sick of me, but you are my hero and I have another question ... I went to the link and followed directions to the t... one threw me off and that was changing the TIFF Parameters, is that just saying to change permissions or something else. Ok, so I have a couple of questions... then it is asking for my path to my mogrify file, but there are so many that I don't know which one it is... where is that main file in the download and I can plug in the rest of my path.
And last but not least, I am still having a problem with the Magick++ file. When I try to open this file it won't let me because of the special characters, and it says the file is invalid. Is this normal...how can I get around it.
Thank you so much for your help- I am pulling my hair out!

You must follow the directions to a tee in the link posted. You must have access to the gcc compiler.

Ok, it's there, but still a no go

It is not finding the mogrify file- my path must be wrong.
public_html/ImageMagick-6.2.6/bin/mogrify is my path
usr/bin/mogrify is generic path
What would I use??? I have tried everything and nothing works.

Well I think you need to use the full path the first one seems to be a partial path

How did you install root user or not?

try this

/usr/local/bin/mogrify

You can also login through ssh and type whereis mogrify to see the path
