| Post Install Problem
Hi guys,
Just installed Photopost into VB 3.5 and have the end result of: Quote:
vBulletin datastore error caused by one or more of the following:
1. You may have uploaded vBulletin 3.5 files without also running the vBulletin 3.5 upgrade script. If you have not run the upgrade script, do so now.
2. The datastore cache may have been corrupted. Run Rebuild Bitfields from tools.php, which you can upload from the do_not_upload folder of the vBulletin package.
Fatal error: vBulletin datastore cache incomplete or corrupt in /includes/init.php on line 185
| Any one care to guess why this is coming up. Its a vBulletin type error message (the forums are working fine) rather than a PhotoPost error. I'm not game to try what it is actually suggesting. http://www.tacklebox.com.au/gallery/
TIA.

This might be better off in the Bug Reports section now....
Well it certainly is installed, and working fine most of the time.
However at complete random it stops working with the message in my previous post. Without changing anything it will start working again.
It seems the datastore cache seems to keep breaking and as the site is hosted on a server farm using a central NFS share I think it may have something to do with that? Any advice?

Well it has nothing to do with a bug in our code so no need to move it.
This issue has to do with your vbulletin datastore table. If that is broken then your entire forum is down. It could very well and most likely be an issue with your hosts mysql.
Try making sure to optimize and repair all mysql tables.

I'll try optimising the tables ... but I don't think its the datastore prob, as the forums continue to run fine.

No ... this is what it does. It works perfectly then all of a sudden it will just stop, with the above message. A few hours later it starts working again.

Are you using vBGallery or Pro ?
- I do not think PRO has datastore opions.
The tools.php has many nice tools in it.
- It's a recovery system
- If useing vBGallery
There is 4 Datastore records for the gallery.
- gallery_c_cache
- gal_mod_cache
- adv_gallery_opt
- gallery_ugroups

Photopost pro has nothing to do with the vbulletin datastore table. If you have hacks installed with your vb3 I would suggest you disable them and reenable them one at a time to see what might be causing your conflict.

Well we have many sites running Photopost and VB3 and this has never been reported in. It's gotta be a hack causing this here.
Your the only Photopost thread pulling this on a search
