Upgrade from 4.0 to 2.5.3

Hi, I trying to upgrade to 2.5.3 from 4.0. When I hit the proper 4.0 link on the upgrade.php screen to get going absolutely nothing happens. I get no errors and nothing appears to happen. Any ideas?

Steve

The weird thing is that I get no error message at all. From looking at the upgrade.php code it would seem that I would get some sort of no connect error message at the very least.

You mean you want to upgrade to 5.3

At the top of upgrade.php script beneath the ini_set line place this

$skip_exheader = "yes";

That seemed to work at least in part. I'm running 5.3 and most images appear correct. Only problem is I can't login.

Yes, I've checked that the vbulletin license number is correct and that the cookie prefix is correct in the pp database. The strange thing is that it will let me login as a user just fine, but not as admin.

What do you mean can not login please clarify and expand. Other logins work and login fine. What do you see with admin does the login work and your logged in but no admin link?

By the way vb3 did not exist in Photopost 4.0 if I am not mistaken.

I mean I can logon to post a picture as a user but can't get into admin. I've checked the vbulletin license (which I did just enter along with the upgrade) and the cookie prefix.

So you see your admin link when logged in but you cant get into admin?

If you are sure of the license and prefix I would need to see your install as if you can not get into admin it sounds like your cookie prefix is incorrect.
