| Integrating Photopost and Vbulletin
Hi,
I installed vbulletin on site and then installed photopost and integrated it through the install with vbulletin, but now at the top it says welcome {username} but still asks you to register in the gallery part, even when logged in.
Help!
Traci

Hello how about a url and test login. More than likely your cookies or license number has not been entered in correctly. These are the two most common mistakes on vb3 integration.
In your config-inc.php file the $vblicense variable must be the correct license for vbulletin not customer number.
On install you must input the vb cookie prefix when asked. This is usually bb by default and can be found in the vb config.php file.

| Login issue
Hi Chuck,
I purchased a 2nd install today and now have both vbulletin and photopost on the same domain, but when i intregated photopost, it seem to go ok, but now when i login to photopost and click my admin it asks for my username and password again, then logs me out.
The license is correct, i double checked, when the photopost install asked for the vbulletin cookie prefix, i put bb but i noticed in my vbulletin its blank.

I suggest you open up your vbulletin config.php file in your includes directory of the forum and check your cookie prefix and license number
The license is at the top of the file and must be entered exact. Same with the cookie prefix
If both are entered correct you should be able to get into admin

If your login works for the front end of the site but not the admin side then either the license number or cookie prefix has to be incorrect
You can PM me info to look at it

Hello, I am having trouble with vB and PP login as well.
I've checked the cookie prefix in the SQL database. It's fine.
I've checked the vBulletin license. It's fine.
When I try to log into PP admin, it gives me an invalid login error.
What else can cause this?

Double check in settings table you are integrating with vb3 in setting 41.
As long as your integrating with vb3 in that setting and the database info is correct in the config and the two variables meantioned before are correct you will get authenticated.

I will change this to "vb3" and see how it works.
Thanks for your time and efforts!!
edit: Brilliant! The layout changed after this mod--I thought it was a theme issue. Okay, now it just says I'm not a valid admin/mod, but I'm sure I can mess with the settings and fix it. Thanks very much Chuck!

I've had the same issue here, changed the licence number and now stay logged in from Vb to PP and back again, but can't login as PP admin.
How do I add a cookie prefix in the MySQL table? I presume it's in pp-admingroups / id 12, cookie settings? Then what?
