A completely New Installation with PP Pro v5.3

Since my PP Pro Ver 5.21 hasn't gone live yet, I installed a completely new PP Pro Ver 5.3 with fresh installation.

However, I got this Error at the bottom of Admin CP "exit; } ?>". The same error also appeared at the bottom of Admin Options Menu. And when I clicked on "Personal Album" on the main page, I received this error "r /> PPPRINT; } ?>" just under the "Album Index Menu".

In the Database Statistics, it still shows Current version as 5.21. What could be the cause of the problems? Thank you.

Hello,

I have reloaded all the "Template Files". But the problems persist. Please take a look at my site, http://forum.ipoh.com.my/forum/gallery & click on "Personal Albums Index". You will see the error message "r /> PPPRINT; } ?>" . Thank you.

I cant view your site you have not provided a test login

Now if you still get the error your template file is corrupted. Printing out PPPRINT; } ?> tells me this one

I would suggest you redownload the code and reupload all the files especially the templates cause if you have one file corrupted in your ftp upload you probally have more than one.

Check that the files use ASCII upload format not Binary. I have used a few FTP programs over the years and some default to Binary as the file format if it is not "known".

Hello,

Both of you are right. I uploaded all the template files as ASCII type & the problems solved. Thank you so much.

Just make sure your FTP client is set to AUTO the filetype and adjust accordingly
