Stats and Most Recent Additions Not Updating

Fresh install hooked to VB, everything seems to be working except for the Stats and Most recent additions do not update after I upload photos or view photos.

I have uploaded 20 photos and it is only saying I uploaded 10 on the stats on the homepage, If you look globally at the stats (another page). The stats are updated and so are the views. I go back to the homepage, hit refresh a few times and nothing changes. It still displays old stats.

Also on the homepage the Most recent additions do not update after I have uploaded photos. They remain on old ones I have uploaded earlier. I hit refresh several times and nothing changes.

Any help would be great.

Hello Your statistics are tied into your cache system which will update when your cache has timed out. You can elect to turn off the system cache in Admin = Global Options the last entry set the timeout to 0 to disable.

I noticed one other thing,

When I click A Photo and then I hit the home button it adds like 13 views each time.

What is that caused by?

Well You most likley also have the views cache enabled which means we cache photo views and they are written in spurts so we are not updating the photos table everytime a user views a photo.

I don't have that enabled. It is wierd. I go to the homepage click a photo and then click the home link and 13 views are added. I have done it several times. There really isent anybody on the site so I know it does not have that many views.

Your telling me this is disabled in Admin => Global Options

Use photo view caching to reduce view update queries on high load sites?
Set this to YES if you want to enable the view caching code which caches photo view updates

Now if this is something you just turned off then it will take time for that mysql cache table to clear out.
