Logging into adm-index.php keeps logging me out of forum

Hello

I just installed PhotoPost Pro last night and used the version that integrates with vb3.

The installation process seemed to go rather smoothly, but when it was done and said I could proceed to log-in to the adm-index.php... I used my normal username and password that I use for my forums. I gave me the "Log in sucessful" screen. But then brought me right back to the gallery index page, but Logged out.

I have tried to reinstall it several times, but I've gotten the same result.

Do you guys have an idea as to what could be the problem?

any help is appreciated.

its most likely a cookie issue. you need to set cookies for the entire domain if you are using the same user db.

cookie path: /
cookie prefix: bb
cookie domain: .yourdomain.com

one more quick question...

how do you set the permissions for who can upload and who can't?

right now, it's not letting me (the admin) upload.

sorry for the dumb questions...

i've just gotten so used to vbulletin's admincp layout, it's hard to figure out where i'm supposed to edit permissions on a different layout.

thanks for all the help.

Those are in the database settings table settings 171-173 using phpmyadmin would be the way to change them or through mysql queries. If you are using vb3 bb is the default cookie prefix and what most people forget.

If you just did install it might be easier for you to do a reinstall if your not familiar with phpmyadmin
