Notice: Undefined offset: 0 error

Hi
I have just upgraded from PhotoPost 4.8.2 to the latest version 5.2.1 release, and now I get the following error on index.php (at the top of the page):

Notice: Undefined offset: 0 in line 15 (of PhotoPost's root index.php file)

We are running a Windows server, with MySQL 4 and PHP 4.3.0.

I searched the support forum but cannot see an mention of anyone else having this error.

Line 15 (which the error is displayed from) is the first line here:

if ( is_numeric($argv[0]) ) {
header("Location: {$Globals['maindir']}/showphoto.php?photo={$argv[0]}");
exit;
}

Your PHP error reporting is set way too high I would suggest you turn it down to remove this error.

You would remove the code if you cant edit PHP values

I get this as well.

I removed it, but what was the benefit of the code?

Basically that code is just a safely check that if a numeric photo arguement is passed then we forward them to showphoto.php to view the photo.

Turning down php error reporting is the required action but you can remove the code if you dont have access to change php.ini

OK, I removed the code, but it seems it's only this line of code that is throwing up errors, so (forgive me if I sound a total beginner here) could the code there not be improved so as still to 'work' but not throw up a PHP error?

No not really. Your PHP error reporting is set TOO HIGH and thus is reporting this empty arguement which is merely a safety check
