Photos & info gone after upgrade.

Mr. Scannell,

Thanks - my uploads seem to work OK now. HOWEVER, months of previous work (photos w/other DB text info associated with each - is GONE). I ran a SCAN Check from the Admin page and that's when the information about how many files were matched to the directories was also lost. Before that the photo text data was there and just the photos were missing. There's months of work down the tube UNLESS you know some way to recover it. I'm sure the photo data (etc) is still on the Pair DB server. I'm holding out hope...

Regards,

James Martin

- Do you do monthly and/or weekly backups ?
- Have you looked at log files for access of maliciousness or accidents of purged records?
- Have you looked on the server via FTP to see if there are images on the server ?

This has been responded to on the support ticket you opened earlier

You can respond to the ticket accordingly so we are not double posting here.

However as explained in your support ticket if all you did was run a 5.1-5.2 upgrade there is nothing that would make your photos dissapear.

As with any upgrade the upgrade states to backup your data beforehand so as we have both stated you would need to restore your photos table and or the files themselves depending on what has transpired and proceed from there.
