Question about login/out/bridged with SMF

I'm sharing the member info with SMF and PP does see the member list from SMF.

However, PP doesn't recognize whether you're actually logged in or out on SMF - so you can be logged in to the forum, but when you click on the gallery, you have to also login there. Do cookies handle this feature, or is it not a feature at all, or? I have the cookie info all right - SMF just has the one cookie name.

This seems to be the last little issue I can't figure out, everything else looks to be working great.

Bill

Did you specify the SMF cookie name on install? This has to be inputed or login will not be set. Usually by default the smf cookie is

SMFCookie10

Yea, smfcookie10 in the "cookie settings".

My settings in there are

first field - \
next field - left blank and also tried smfcookie10
next field - .bigblockdart.com;
last field - smfcookie10

is that it, or is there another place to specify these settings regarding the bridging?

In the forum settings, I have the URL to forum set correctly(I also tried absolute path), user reg. system is SMF, database table prefix is also correct.

Your cookie name is wrong if it is not exact as SMF

Note how I typed it

SMFCookie10

It must be capitols
