Can't login admin after new install

Installed vBulletin in / forum no problem
Installed Photopost in /gallery

Ran the install as instructed for PP. I can login vBulletin admin fine but I can't login Photopost admin. When I first tried it said I was logged in and it put me on the front page and logged me out. Everytime since it tells me
im using the wrong uname and pass.

Sounds like you have not properly entered the vbulletin cookie prefix in your cookie settings of the gallery so it is asking you to login.

If you relog in check your cookie settings and set bb in the cookie prefix. Double check your vbulletin config file to be sure as thats where the cookie prefix is but by default it is bb.

$config['Misc']['cookieprefix'] = 'bb';

I can't login the gallery. Where is this info stored?

I would suggest two things.

1. view your config-inc.php file and make sure the correct vbulletin license number is entered from their config file

2. View with phpmyadmin view settings 171-173 in the settings table and set to match cookie settings of vbulletin. Most likely as Zach stated your cookies are not set correctly. You would either need to do this or reinstall with the correct info if your not familiar with phpmyadmin

Perfect. Thank you gentlemen. This fixed my problem!

Most don't see that "bb" setting in the middle of vbulletin35/forums/includes/config.php !!

I know I missed it. so, THANKS!

I beleive it was answered above in the 3rd post about your prefix. Your cookie prefix is not set correctly.

You can view the config.php of vbulletin and see what its set to by default it is bb

I stated the issue that your forum cookie path was not right

Now you can use phpmyadmin like I explained in post 5 to set this if this is post install or you can reinstall and enter the correct cookie prefix if you are not familiar with phpmyadmin.

Well you would need to check your vbulletin config.php file in the included directory to ensure it is set to this.

You can also check to see at the top of the config file as well for vbulletin is your license number make sure the photopost config-inc.php file has the correct license number
