PP 5.21/RP 3.11/ Classifieds 2.42 with PHP 5.1.1

Hi

is Photopost 5.21, Reviewpost 3.11. and Classifieds 2.42 working properly with PHP 5.1.1?

One of my webhosters will upgrade to PHP 5.1.1 and I have to know what kind of problems might appear and how they can be solved

Thanks in advance

I know of one issue recently uncovered. On PHP 5.1X series PHP everywhere in the scripts where localtime() is used we need to add explicity

$year = $year + 1900;

queries will fail.

There are alot of PHP files that need updating. We plan at releasing an update but this was just uncovered a few days ago.

Hi,

this might be another probelm with the new PHP 5.1.1:

(My webhoster just upgraded on sunday to PHP 5.1.1.; I use Photopost 5.21)

Now I have at least one user who is complaining, that his daily upload limit does not work properly anymore. This can be by accident or it has to do with the new PHP version.

I have for new users a daily upload limit of 1 image per day. Since sunday, this user tries to upload an image, but gets always the message that his daily upload limit is already reached - although he did not upload anything on that day.

He also deleted all cookies, closed the browser and tried it again. No difference.

Could this has something to do with it? Is teher an esasy fix for this possible?

I would not think so but I would need more information to look at it.

The $User array is properly initialized so I know it can not be an array issue.

Now the rest is a simple query so it does not have to be a photo uploaded the same day it is a 24 hour period from the time he uploads so if he uploads at 1pm on sunday and tries to uploas 12 noon on monday he will be stopped. I guess you would need to run the actual query and see what results are given for him

Url and integration type?

Hi

I just sent you the access data by mail to the comcast e-mail address.

Both galleries are stand alone installations. With my other galleries I have not checked yet, whether they have similar problems.

Strangely, other users are able to upload. But it seems these other users are all part of another usergroup (higher usergroup). They are allowed to upload 4 images per day, instead of 1 image per day of the "problem user".

Hopefully this additional info gives you any kind of indication to find easier the problem...
