That's what I'm trying to tell you.

Friday this worked great. Lots of users browsing all the time. Change the setting in php and now it doesnt work.

Something isn't working right! Does anyone else have any ideas?

How about my permission problme?

You said you where getting back to me on permissions?? You where checking them

what do you mean changed the setting in PHP? If you changed something and you think it is causing an adverse reaction that no one has ever heard of change it back to the way it was.

okay well permissions are not set correct on your data directories so the files can not be copied

Now only thing I can suggest about online is you PM me data to look at phpmyadmin and you send me an IM handle and we try to coordinate a time to be on there at the same time and see what happens

I'm refreshing the contents of iponline table. Some do show a username, but none are showing an ip.

I'll pm you details.

I removed the primary key off that table and this shows now:
Quote:
Users browsing the gallery: Paul G, Laquita, scorpiostwin11_76, teenJINGLE07, Ree and 37 unregistered users
Like I said I know there are users browsing it.

So please look at that key.

Thanks

I'm also running PP classifieds and that has ip addresses in the iponline table:

http://www.powwows.com/gathering/classifieds/

Please take a look at this issue and stop trying to tell me that there isn't a problem with PP!

Thanks!!!

This is very frustrating!

First you try to tell me that there is noboday browsing the forums instead of listening to my problem. I've now showed you that there are over 35 people online.

Then we have to argue over ip address info.

Still you don't address the problem.

Now, if PP Classifieds works--it shows people online, stores ip's in the iponline table, then it can't be the configuration of PHP. Otherwise both apps would be affected.

Something happened to the PP db and it isn't storing ip's now. What could cause that?

Please help me address the problem!!

Your not answering my questions when I ask them. You state it worked before you changed PHP settings.

I have asked what you did and have no response. I have also stated to shut off your headers footers and see what happens.

I posted it here:
Problem with Who's Online

And this is the second time I've shown you where I posted that.

And you have not mentioned headers and footers anywhere in this thread!

That's what I was trying to tell you! There are tons of people using the site!

I've turned off headers and footers.

You did not ask me for admin info! I'm trying very hard to give you all the info you need. But you need to make sure you are asking me for things!

Your PM's are:

1.
Quote:
The code is the same between the products so I doubt that unless you have hacked your photopost

I can not help if you dont answer my questions. Obviously if it worked before you adjusted PHP. Thus as I asked what did you adjust in PHP
2.
Quote:
You have answered your own question whatever changes you did to php is not allowing the ipaddr to be got and since your doing a replace command where the primary key of the table is ipaddr you can not write records

$ipaddr = findenv("REMOTE_ADDR");

SO WHAT CHANGES WHERE MADE TO PHP AS YOUR BLOCKING SOMETHING HERE

I am reading your posts fine.

You have not answered me and are not getting punchy with your responses. If you want me to help you are going to need to calm down and answer what I have asked or I am unable to help.
So where did you ask for admin?

Right and did you bother looking at the picture I posted. It is right from your site and Photopost shows 70 users online so what is broke. I took the picture and included the footer so you knew it was your site

It still worries me your IP is not resolved

I thought I asked for admin login but it doesnt matter as your who's online seems to work fine and I have not touched anything

ARGGGGGGGGGGGG

Do you not read my posts?

Please read:
Problem with Who's Online

To make it work I removed the primary key on that table. That to me is not a fix or solution. That key (I hope you guys put the key in there for a reason) needs to be there, and ip's are still not being posted to that table.

But by removing the key I was able to show you that there were more than just 1 person browsing.

Okay this is the last time I ever offer to help anyone by PM cause your posting both places and I can not help like this.

No I never saw that post. Well this points to a server issue not Photopost

Question is why classifieds would still work when it is the exact same code and exact same table.

I'm going to continue posting things here in this thread since we apparently have a communication problem!

You have now asked me in PM for ftp info so you can test that the server is grabbing IP's.

PP Classifieds is working and grabbing IP's. So you don't need to test that.

Let's move to the next thing.
