You have set usergroup permissions for admin to upload? Doesn't look that way if you get that message

Is your admin usergroup 6?

IM having the same problem.... In admin permisisons, all set to yes, administrators is usergroup 6, but I don't see anything relating to uploading images for the photopost in particular, still cannot upload.

Additionally, I cannot seem to get to the PP admin pages. I sign in, but when I sign in, it just takes be to the main PP gallery page unsigned in.

Plus, shouldnt there be some sort of integrated link in the VBulletin links to take the members to that area of the gallery somehow, or do we just put in our own links and buttons?

NOok

Sounds to me like your not logged in as in cookies are wrong.

Try setting your cookies in vbulletin like this

cookie path /

cookie domain .domain.com not the dot

In photopost

cookie path /

cookie domain .domain.com

cookie prefix bb

Make sure in your config you entered the correct vbulletin license number where asked.

Most likely you forgot to enter bb as your cookie prefix. Try using the direct link to login to photopost and correct your cookie settings.

I'm not sure what you mean by: .domain.com not the dot

Do you mean enter .fordfusion.org ?

yes, he means "notE the dot" (left out the e)

the dot before the domain allows the cookie to utilise any subdomain. if you left out the dot it would ONLY work on "fordfusion.org" not "www.fordfusion.org" or "forum.fordfusion.org"

I set those settings, now when I sign into my vbulletin, it says thanks for logging in , then takes me back to the forum as if I am not signed in at all! I can't even get my vbulletin admin page now.

back to square one after doing a fresh install. Blank page when I try to go to the PP admin page can't sign into my vbulletin admin, looks like I will have to just reinstall Vbulleting, glad it was a new forum and not much posted...... Back to gallery 2 !

There would be no issue provided you entered the domain name correctly

.fordfusion.org

I use

.reeftalk.com for my site and most people learn to set there cookies as .domain to prevent dropping the cookie going from www.domain.com and domain.com Try clearing all your cookies. when logging in vbulletin try seeing how the cookie is set

you do not need to reinstall VB to fix that issue, I'm certian there is a workaround.

Yeah like there is a fixlogin.php script on vb to clear your cookie domain to blank

you can also clear it in the vbulletins mysql setting table

As posted above if you get a blank screen on photopost after install you have not entered your forum server path correctly so we can find the global.php file

edit config-int.php and $vbpath variable and set the server path correctly and all will be okay

cookie path is /

cookie domain .fordfusion.org

cookie prefix bb

you can leave the blank domain but just realize if you go between www and no www the cookie will drop
