Photopost 4.86 CAN'T LOGIN....

Prior PHP version was 4.36 and Mysql 4.0.1; All was working great and I backed up the database using mysql tools and I re-stored accordingly.

I just upgraded to PHP 5.01 and Mysql 5.0.16. I am running windows 2003 sp1 server with all the latest security patches.

Hello

We have not tested our products with mysql 5 which is brand spanking new. I would suggest installing the latest mysql 4

Your boards are closed down so I can't register and try it mysql but knowing all the changes that mysql 5 has I would assume there are some overhauls that are needed before we could support that.

mysql 5.01

I can send you the photopost admin login for you to try. where do I send it?

The only way I can re-open the board is by using mysqladmin and editing the setting table and change the setting from closed to open. I will do that now and you can try to log in as giofunky/ctxbella

I can also send you the login so you can login to mysqladmin and check things out. You can e-mail me at giovannyarteaga@yahoo.com or I will send you the info to your email support@photopost.com. Let me know.

I don't mind working with you and testing this type of installation; I am very sure it will be vey beneficial and interesting to figure out.

What's the latest and best version conbination php/mysql for photopost to work?

Thanks.

PHP5 and Mysql 4 work just fine.

I would suggest you try that. You can try upgrading to Photopost 5.21 if you like. I do not know if 4.86 had issues with PHP 5 or not but upgrading to the latest code can test that.

Ok. I will install mysql 4.1 and stay with php 5

My idea is that if it works, I will upgrade to the latest version of photopost.

Thanks.

Gio
