Install problem

After failing to successfully integrate vBulletin 3.5 with PhotoPro 5.21 I reverted to my phpBB2 board that had been running successfully with PP. PP runs ok now except there is no login prompt on the menu bar. I can login as Admin using the adm-index.php file.

I have left the install script in the photopro directory because that has been the only way I have been able get PP up and running after failing at (now 3) attempts at integrating PP and VB.

At this point I would be happy to forget about VB and just have PP running with my phpBB2 board. It always worked fine before and I can't figure out what went wrong.

I have checked cookie and domain names for the cookie in both and they agree. I flush the cache several times after any changes I make. The link to the install is:

Thank you.

Photopost runs fine with vb and since phpbb is terrible forum I would suggest you install with vbulletin and you post here the exact issues you have.

Most issues I see with vb is people forget the license number or cookie settings or incorrectly enter the vb table prefix or server path to the forum

There are only a couple mistakes people can make and I am sure we can work through them only if you post for help

Ok, here goes

Swithced to vB integration. License number is installed. Here is what I get

Warning: mysql_fetch_array(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/birds/www/www/photopro/forums/phpbb2.php on line 29

Warning: mysql_fetch_row(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/birds/www/www/photopro/forums/phpbb2.php on line 53

Warning: mysql_fetch_array(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/birds/www/www/photopro/forums/phpbb2.php on line 66

Warning: mysql_fetch_row(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/birds/www/www/photopro/forums/phpbb2.php on line 307

Warning: mysql_fetch_row(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/birds/www/www/photopro/forums/phpbb2.php on line 312

I don't know where that path is coming from since I changed all paths to point to the correct directories.

Thanks.

well you must install with vb integration that is telling me you have selected phpbb2 integration

Why dont you clear the photopost database and reinstall from scratch

I can't clear the database I have too many photos/users. Can I edit the table?

Now you have me confused. This reads like a new install your trying to do.

Okay well read my post here on the exact steps you need to take when switching integrations

I am in the process of updating photopost and I get this error:

Warning: main(./global.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/zendiver/public_html/gallery/header-inc.php on line 61

Warning: main(./global.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/zendiver/public_html/gallery/header-inc.php on line 61

Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required './global.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/zendiver/public_html/gallery/header-inc.php on line 61

This is a fresh install too.

Hello that indicates on the last step of install an improper path to your forum was set. If you edit config-int.php the $vbpath variable to the proper path you will be fine ;)

Chuck, thanks for the reply. But I screwed up and re-uploaded my database because I did the /install.php instead of /upgrade.php. I currently have 4.8.2 installed and need to upgrade. When I direct to the upgrade.php and chose 4.8.2 it goes to the next screen that says the following:

Quote:

Welcome to PhotoPost Upgrade
This install script will upgrade your 4.8.2 release. Only run this upgrade if you have the 4.8.2 version of the database in place (either by previous upgrades or if upgrading in order to the latest).

Proceed to Upgrade -->
I click on the Proceed to Upgrade, and NOTHING happens.

You have any ideas?

Not off the top of my head. I do not see why it would do nothing. You can email me specifics
