Could you please advise? |
Hello two things I see On your install you forgot to enter the proper vbulletin table prefix Then on the last step of install the server path to the forum is incorrect. If you rerun install and enter the correct information you should be fine |
Hi there - thanks for the reply - indeed, I accidently got the server path wrong for the forum, so that's one correction. There is no table prefix on my vB install, though?? Now getting the following login error: Quote:

Warning: mysql_fetch_array(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/user/public_html/gallery/forums/vb3.php on line 25 This can only mean one of two things here 1. You did not input the proper vbulletin table prefix or 2. You have incorrectly specified the vbulletin database information in the first step of install |
Thanks for that - much appreciated - it was no.2 :) Last silly question - where do I find the actual admin login? |
your integrating with vb right then your admin login is your vb admin login |
I'm using separate databases - one for forum, one for photopost - I can't immediately see navigation for photopost within the vb admin panel. |
there is no admin for classifieds in the vb admin area If your logged in with your vb login on your classifieds menubar there will be a admin link to the classifieds admin area |
1 Attachment(s) I'm afraid I don't see an login feature on a menubar: |
Ah and I know why. Remember on install you specified the wrong table prefix for VB. Your usergroups where not imported I take it I brian is admin user for VB Looking at phpmyadmin what inserts are under the photopost usergroups mysql table There should be an entry for admin groupid 6 and cpaccess set to 1 |
Thanks for that - sounded messy, so I simply deleted the database, reinstalled, and finally found the admin login - - but it's not accepting my log in, and instead boots me out to my forums, while logging me out of them. Any ideas?? |
