changed user group permissions now no photos on index

Hello,

went into photopost to change the upload permissions so that only the admin could upload to certain categories and all the albums disappeared from the index page.

This is what I did:



Admin |Edit Categories |



Then I clicked on edit on a category and scrolled down and unchecked “normal user could not upload to category” and saved it.

Any help would be appreciated!

Hello you sure you did not uncheck view permissions? This would seem like what you did instead of upload perms being removed

no I unchecked the box so that normal users could not upload. I then checked it back and still nothing. The view albums is checked for normal users.

Try redownloading the build and updating your pp-inc.php file

That did not help. All my permissions are checked to allow yet nothing on the home page. I can search for them and they come up with no problem.

I just tested this and looked at the code.

As long as user view permissions are set in category permissions then the categories appear on the index page.

removing uploads just remove them from the upload box and catmove box.

As long as the group has view permission the will be able to see it

In the catrow function the whole thing is surrounded alot by this meaning that viewing permissions controls what is viewed not upload
