| Upgraded but having trouble...
I uploaded all of the files except the data and documentation folders into a new folder called photopostnew. I edited the new config files (config.inc.php and config.int.php) to add the new info including the new folders for the new versions of photopost and vBulletin as well as the new database (I made a copy of the original database to do this upgrade) I made for this installation. I ran the upgrade.php script. BUT, I only get a page with the message saying the forums are closed and the admin link and the others point back to the old installation.
The address for the new install is: http://www.digiscrapdivas.com/photopostnew
Any help?
Thanks,
Kathy

Hello
Your urls and paths and such would all point to the old install and it is not suggested to upgrade like this.
You would need to overwrite everything EXCEPT the config-inc.php file on your old install and run upgrade.php on that database because essentially your old install is going to be broken or might depending on what version you just upgraded from
Your getting the closed message cause your forum is closed and your new gallery is closed as well http://www.digiscrapdivas.com/photopost/ http://www.digiscrapdivas.com/photopostnew |

Okay, let me tell you what I've done this morning...
I already had uploaded all of the files for 5.21. I copied over the data folder from the original install to the new one. I was using a duplicate of my original database so as not to mess up the original in case I messed up. That is the database that I ran the upgrade script on. This morning, I went and changed the name of the folder containing the original install to photopostold and renamed the new one to photopost. All of the links then worked and all looked good until I tried to upload a photo. Here's the message I got:
Unable to move file [/tmp/php0ml4Sn] [/home2/digiscr/public_html/photopost/uploads/1/Christmas-gifts.jpg]
Any ideas?
ETA: Permissions, permissions, permissions...I think it's fixed.
Okay, just thought it was fixed...
Unable to move file [/tmp/phporrHyN] [/home2/digiscr/public_html/photopost/uploads/1/Christmas-gifts.jpg]
got this again when I tried to upload...

Make sure to turn on vb3 integration
next your trying to use imagemagick but have not set the proper path to it on your server. In admin global options try switching the processor to gd2 and upload or edit your config and place the proper path to mogrify

Now it won't even log me into the admin panel. It shows me as logged in, but when i click on Admin, it tells me to login, then when i do, it takes me right back to the index page with the "your boards are currently closed" message...so, I can't check those things you're telling me to check because I can't get in!

Your forums are closed
You need to do two things open your forum
then you do not have the proper vbulletin cookie prefix set.
I suggest if you know phpmyadmin you view the photopost settings table and set setting 172 to bb that should correct your admin loop issue

thanks, Chuck. The admin thing is fixed, but I still get this when I try to view a photo:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: is_wysiwyg_compatible() in /home2/digiscr/public_html/photopost/showphoto.php on line 922
It said my image was uploaded successfully this time, so I must have fixed the thumbnail issue, so that's taken care of, too.

One more thing...this is a problem on my vBadvanced home page, but it is with the photopost feeder module and I think it is a photopost problem, not a vBadvanced problem. Could you please take a peek at the page? http://www.digiscrapdivas.com
Thanks!

Also, it won't let me change anything in the edit config option in the admin panel... It is showing the WYSIWYG off there and I tried to change it to on and got this message:

Kathy
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: is_wysiwyg_compatible() in /home2/digiscr/public_html/photopost/showphoto.php on line 922
YOU NEED TO CHANGE PERMISSIONS ON THE CONFIG-INT.PHP FILE AND THEN TURN ON WYSIWYG VARIABLES FOR VB3
One more thing...this is a problem on my vBadvanced home page, but it is with the photopost feeder module and I think it is a photopost problem, not a vBadvanced problem
NOT A PHOTOPOST ISSUE BUT I WILL TELL YOU WHAT THE ISSUE IS WITH THIS HACK. YOUR NOW RUN NING PHOTOPOST 5 AND IMAGES ARE STORED IN DIFFERENT FORMAT. YOU MUST GRAB AN UPDATED PHOTO BLOCK CODE.
Also, it won't let me change anything in the edit config option in the admin panel...
GOES HAND IN HAND WITH QUESTION ONE CHMOD THE FILE TO 666 AND YOU'LL BE FINE

Whew! Thanks, Chuck! We really needed to have it back up by 9 PM Eastern and we just made it. I'll go back over to the vBadvanced forum and see if that block of code is somewhere in the thread for that mod. I can't be the first person to need it, huh?
Thanks for all the help! I think I'm finished!

One question...I wanted the middle vb3 option turned off so that the comment box is right below the image, not at the bottom of all the comments. When I turned it back off, I started getting that ugly message again...

Oh, and Chuck, I was already running Photopost 5...5.12 to be exact. So, does that change the theory about what's wrong with my vBa?
