Catagories

I have just upgraded my Photopost to the latest version along with VBBulletin.

I now find that my categories are no longer restricted to defined user-groups and are open for anyone to view/upload!

Can anyone shred light on this issue and what I can do to lock-down those categories again?

What are your category permissions set to?

Download 5.21 and make sure all the files are uploaded especially pp-inc.php here and make sure in Admin you have the correct permissions applied in edit categories for the respective usergroups

I have the same problem!

I have one category where all users can upload photos, and different other categories where they are not allowed to uppload, but where moderators move them to.

But after upgrading, users are now allowed to post to those other categories, but not in the main category where i want them to be allowed. And if I try to move pictures, the main category does not appear as a possible category to move them to.

Any idea?

I have reloaded the 5.21 files and i have updatet both category and usergroup permissions. Still the same.

OK I have also done as advised and there is no difference - all categories are open for upload.

Example. I have a competition category with no upload rights for anyone yet that is up-loadable to!

I suggest you download the build as instructed above and upload pp-inc.php

This was something fixed within the first couple days release of 5.21 which is why I stated to redownload the build

I have done that but the problem still exists.

The problem does not persist that I see when I test it on my install.

If you have a usergroup set to not upload in a category it does not appear in the cat dropdown unless your an admin. Is that how your testing this cause you can't do it like that since an admin sees everthing

This code is very specific here in pp-inc.php. The code in bold says that the cat only appears if they have upload priviledges
