issues clean install

having problems integ w/ vbulletin 3.5 gold

get the following error during installation: set all the folders in data to 777. any ideas?

PP creates 3 folders in the /data directory. medium,mini, and thumbs. the .htm file within isn't writable either. the owner and group are set to 99. i can't change the permissions.

Hello the error there tells me that your data directory especially 500 and its children are not set to 777

Did you drill down and set all levels to 777?
