random images on forumhome I'm trying to add the random images on my forumhome. As soon as I completed the following: 3) In your vB index.php file, you will need to add two lines under under these four: // ######################### REQUIRE BACK-END ############################ require_once('./global.php'); require_once('./includes/functions_bigthree.php'); require_once('./includes/functions_forumlist.php'); include('./photopost/inc_features.php'); include('./photopost/inc_photopost.php'); I now get Warning: main(./photopost/inc_features.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /index.php on line 58 Warning: main(): Failed opening './photopost/inc_features.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /index.php on line 58 Warning: main(./photopost/inc_photopost.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /index.php on line 59 Warning: main(): Failed opening './photopost/inc_photopost.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /index.php on line 59 Can someone please tell me what I might have done wrong please? Thanx. :D |
Okay I have worked it out somewhat. I can see 5 image X's now but I still get this error. Warning: main(/home/*****/public_html/forum/inc_features.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /index.php on line 58 Warning: main(): Failed opening '/home/*****/public_html/forum/inc_features.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /index.php on line 58 |
Did I put this in the wrong forum? If this is in the wrong forum I apologise, & can someone move it to the correct forum please. Thanx. |
Okay I figured out why I had the error and corrected that. Now I have the image boxes, but "no" images, only the red X's, & a path leading to my gallery. If I click on the box it takes me to the photo. So I guess I just need to figure out how to change that path so the photo shows up. |
Been at this 4 1/2 hours and still cannot figure this out. |
Okay I give up. I see support be givin out but none here. Do I have body odor or are ya just being difficult today? |
No your thread was not showing up as a NEW POST INDICATOR ;) Check your paths and url's in EDIT INTEGRATION under admin If your images are not showing up then your photopost data url is incorrect it would seem You can post a url for us to see and comment on further |

Yep now I recognize that name harleyarena.net Why did you not say anything ;) You are trying to use some old hack. The distribution contains two files inc_features.php and inc_photopost.php You where using an old inc_photopost.php in your forums directory not the new files |
I was trying not to be a pain in the rear and I thought I could figure it out on my own. I thought you guys were messin with me for awhile there. ;) Thanx for the help man I really appreciate it!!! :) |
Hey Chuck I just upgraded vBulletin again and I am stuck with this again. Any chance you can tell me what I am doing wrong here. I'm sure this is not the last recommended upgrade. |
Your using the old hack I beleive I said this last month ;) http://www.harleyarena.net/gallery/d...web2-thumb.jpg files are no longer stored like this |
Yes you did! And I tried to follow what you said. Quote:

Well your definately using the old hack again inc_photopost.php not inc_features.php. Check your vb index file as if you upgraded you had to reapply the hack and I bet your included inc_photopost and not inc_features |
I'm trying real hard but not getting it. I have eliminated any trace of inc_photopost.php I could find and substituted it with inc_features. Why can I not get this? |
You dont have features photos installed now but you surely have inc_photopost installed as I see photopost cats below the forum http://www.harleyarena.net/forum/ |
This is driving me crazy. I have been workin my butt off trying to figure this out. :D |
It is not that hard really Here is the instructions give them a read over http://www.photopost.com/members/for...d.php?t=110527 |
Any chance you can nudge me in the right direction? |
well check in integration settings that your data path has a trailing slash for one. But I continue to not understand why I continue to look at your install and see this for the images as an example http://www.harleyarena.net/gallery/d...0011-thumb.JPG There is no call in our inc_features.php file to a file structure such as this. That is the old hack you are using. If you use the current file in the distribution of Photopost and your integration settings are correct in admin then follow the instructions in the post above it will display trust me ;) |
