Database not properly setup - unable to read settings table. Contact administrator

Okay I had some issues and now this is the error I am getting.

Database not properly setup - unable to read settings table. Contact administrator.

Should I run the upgrade again or what should I do from here?

Make sure you entered the correct table prefix and database information in your config. Basically the application is not finding your database tables

Okay so double check config int & inc BEFORE I ran the upgrade something may have been wrong.

I have my settings correct now, re-uploaded the files and still the same thing.

Check your database and see what table prefix your using.

Then check your config file. That error tells me the information is incorrect

Guess it would have helped if I knew WTF a data prefix was ~ first time I had to do that and wasnt sure.

Everything looks pretty good now. Other then that everything went very smooth!

Thanks Chuck.
