Image uploads fine, but never appears?

Just did a fresh install for the first time. Went smoothly until I tried to upload a single image. It apparently uploads successfully (as the status message says), but never appears in any directory, nor does it waiting for approval.

When I upload the single image to the uploads directory, it does appear, however the thumbnail is just the filename?

-I'm using the default settings.
-Using GD2
-Upload directory is CHMOD 777

Emailed you the info. Upon looking at the Global settings, it seems all the URL paths were missing a "/" between the gallery + directory. Thumbnails now show, but am still unable to upload a single image via the " Select the photos you wish to upload from your computer:"

Problem running JPEGTRAN:

"/usr/bin/jpegtran" -copy none /home/www/xxx/gallery/data/500/SoliSteve.jpg

Error Code: 2

It appears jpegtran does not exist so try clearing the line to jpegtran and see if it works

Jpegtran line removed and problem is still present. Where are you seeing the error code?

Try reuploading all the files.

I see no errors now but your issue is there.
